Recently…

My mind keeps wandering back to that night on Oak Run. After all the fighting and all the questioning had ended. After we laid side by side and gave in to what was expected of us and what we thought we truly wanted. We acted blissful and for a moment, we were.

Lately, I keep revisiting that time with a sense of longing. The romantic in me keeps trying to forget.
