Hopeful yet hurting
The news of the earthquake in Haiti has had my heart aching since day one. Now, after watching the Hope For Haiti Now show/telethon, my heart is breaking. I knew it was devastating but I hadn’t actually thought about all the orphans.
I have a huge, empathetic heart. I’ve always thought I would make a great adoptive mother, even before I had Lily, because I have that ability to love...
I attempted to film the squeals and open mouthed grins of Lily when we play this game. She LOVES to be held upside down. I think she’s going to be quite the daredevil. I can’t wait to ride roller-coasters with her one day.

So, I’m sure I’m going to hear a lot of crap for this but… I totally think this is being over-sensationalized because it came from the mouth of Pat Robertson. If your neighbor down the street had said it, you’d probably go “Hmm, now that’s a thought.” I’m not condoning what he said, by any means, but I also don’t believe there was any malice...
