It’s really cruddy outside. It has been all morning. It’s this weird sideways, misty rain that is really cold. Crummy days are good movie-watching-under-covers-kinds of days. So, Lily and I watched the Winnie the Pooh movie this morning with breakfast. I watched the episode of New Girl that I had missed. (Which was freakin’ HILARIOUS, btw!) Lily watched another cartoon while I was filling out job applications online and I realized we’ve had the television on since like 9am. 

So, I turned it off. 

I’m working on job searches and birthday plans and Lily is happily strapping herself, her doll, and a teddy bear into a suitcase and pretending to be on a train. 

I turned the damned tv off. How simple, huh?
