18 Guidelines For A Grown-Up Wardrobe

This was a cool little blog post I stumbled upon this morning. I really struggled with this a couple years ago. I went from being a total tom-boy to a late bloomer to a mom without ever giving much thought to fashion and how it can affect how you feel about yourself or how others perceive you. Along the way I picked up a huge collection of band t-shirts, low-waisted jeans that no longer fit the proportions of a post-baby body, bras that didn’t fit, and just a whole lot of clothes that I felt terrible in.

Well, the one good thing about breastfeeding a hundred times a day is that I couldn’t move around so I watched tv. You wouldn’t believe how many What Not To Wear marathons came on late at night when I was dealing with cluster-feedings. (This also explains where I developed my love for the trashy show, Tough Love.) I truly learned a lot from that show.

For anyone else struggling with the transition, here are some simple tips to get you started with a wardrobe that better expresses the new you.
